Sydney Toro​

Sydney Toro is currently a sophomore at Joel Barlow high-school. She joined Ms President US in 2020 as an 8th grader and worked  as a mentor in training last year. This is Sydney's first year as a mentor in Ms President US and she couldn't be more excited!  Sydney strongly believes that woman have a pivotal role in government and it is important  to educate and encourage young girls to want to be involved and make a difference in thier government  Sydney is very active in the preforming arts community and has preformed in plays since middle school. She loves to sing and has been in local community choirs as well as her school's choir for many years. Additionally, she loves basketball  and dance. In school, Sydney is joining her school counsel and is apart of clubs such as "Crafts and Crochet" which crochets baby blankets and clothes  to give to newborns in hospitals. Sydney  loves to be involved in her community. Currently  she is volunteering in an aquarium  teaching  visitors about the harms of ocean pollution and educating them about marine life. Sydney is thrilled to be meeting the girls of Ms president this year!
