Sofia Sahai

Sofia Sahai is a Junior at the Horace Mann School in The Bronx, New York. She is the Chapter Leader and founder of the New York City chapter, and she can't wait to empower young girls to dream big and aim for high leadership positions. Sofia has strengthened her voice through civic engagement, and being able to amplify others' voices has been integral in her love of learning and advocating. 

In her free time, Sofia loves playing the guitar, writing poetry, doing the NYT crossword, listening to music, and reading! At school, she is the Secretary of the Student Government, the President of Model Congress, a Staff Writer for the school newspaper, a member of the poetry club, and a Middle School tutor. As a lover of public speaking and debating, whether with her brother or in History class, she is looking forward to rich discourse and hearing from amazing political leaders!
