Marley BenderMarley Bender is a sophomore at Ridgefield High School. She is currently a teen mentor for the Anti-Defamation League, where she helps influence young children on how to combat anti-semitism.
Marley earned her silver award in Girl Scouts. She created and ran a basketball program helping to teach basketball to kids with disabilities. Marley also enjoys working with Sphere. Sphere is a local organization that runs programs for adults with disabilities. She has helped in their spheretacular performance at the Ridgefield Playhouse. This event is a fundraiser used to support spheres programming. Marley is a teacher’s helper at her local temple, Congregation Shir Shalom. In her free time she loves to dance, act, and sing. She is currently in a rock band as the lead singer as well as volunteering at the Theater Barn. Marley spends her summers at sleep away camp for the past 7 years. Marley loves spending time with her family and friends. She is hoping to help instill in the girls at Ms President US her love of service and volunteer work. She is excited to be part of a program that gives young women a strong voice. |
