Kavya Anand

Kavya Anand is currently a senior at Ridgefield High School. This is her third year as a mentor for Ms President US, and her second year on its Junior Board.

This year, she hopes to help younger girls to be confident and become leaders in their community. Kavya is passionate about martial arts and has a second-degree black belt in karate. She has 13 years of experience and has been teaching karate to people of all ages for six years. Additionally, she loves working with kids and has helped run a summer camp at her dojo for the past four summers. 

Kavya enjoys public speaking and is an active member of the RHS Debate Team and the RHS Model UN Team. She also plays in the RHS Symphonic Orchestra as a violist. In her spare time, Kavya loves to listen to music, spend time with her friends and family, and do calligraphy or journal.
