Alexia AngladeAlexia Anglade is excited to return for her fourth year as a teen mentor and as co-president of the Junior Board.
Alexia is a senior and honors student at Ridgefield High School. At RHS, Alexia is the president of the Save the Children club and co-president of the DECA club. Additionally, she is a Fairfield County student ambassador for Save the Children. This past year, Alexia has been recognized for her Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest leadership award for Girl Scouts. She dedicated her award to town sustainability, and in addition to the award she was one of four girl members on the Girl Scouts of Connecticut Board of Directors. She is recognized annually for her Presidential award and Girl Scout community service pin, and she earned her Congressional Award medal this year as well. In the community, Alexia is also on the Junior Board for the Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation which helps families who have children with special needs. Outside of school she dances daily with a focus on ballet and jazz and will enjoy performing this December in her eleventh Nutcracker performance. |
