Glori Norwitt is a Commissioner on the Ridgefield Economic & Community Development Commission, Chair of the Board of CT Against Gun Violence Education Fund, and Secretary of the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury. For both nonprofits, she ensures effective governance and strategic planning, as well as assists with fundraising activities. Previously she was an employment lawyer for Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, in Los Angeles and as a Registered Foreign Lawyer in Hong Kong, focusing on discrimination and harassment litigation as well as advising on employment law. She graduated from the University of Southern California School of Law, and the University of Michigan where she studied Communications. Glori lives in Ridgefield with her husband and 2 children.
